Children are an important part of the community life of our church at West Point Grey. They offer gifts of wonder, laughter and a questioning spirit and open us to God's presence with us in new ways.
Every Child Needs a Place to Feel Like They Can…
BELONG...no matter what age, each child has a place to call their own.
GROW...personally and spiritually with their natural gift of wonder and questioning spirit.
CONNECT...with God and with others through friendships, mentorships and a strong sense of community.
SERVE...to find out what their God given talents are so they can be a blessing to others and the world.
On Sundays, children are welcome to use the left side of the church at the front (west transept) where they will find tables with activities and colouring sheets. They are also invited to help ring the church bell and bring in the candle at the start of worship. After the passing of the peace, the children are encouraged to join Debra, for a children's programme which helps children relate the Bible to their everyday lives.
We are currently searching for a new coordinator for our Children's Ministry program on Sundays. Please see the job description attached
